The New Albany Farmers Market

Every Thursday Evening 4pm-7pm  June 28 – September 13

Market Square, 200 Market Street, New Albany, OH 43054

When you sit down to eat, do you know where your food comes from? Do you know how far it traveled? Do you know what food is currently in season in Central Ohio?

Visit the New Albany Farmers Market and you will!
We are literally ‘Bringing the Farm to Market Square’ so that you and your family can shake the hand of (and get to know!) the people who feed our community!

The primary goal of our all volunteer run, ‘producer focused’ Farmers Market is to provide a venue that encourages the awareness and use of locally grown and produced goods that promote community health.

Products available at the weekly 2012 Market include: breads, pastries, biscotti and sweet treats, including traditional and gluten free bakeries. Farm fresh fruits and vegetables (when in season) will include organic and all-natural raspberries, peaches, apples, strawberries, melons, fresh and dried herbs, brussel sprouts, garlic, corn, peppers, tomatoes, greens and so much more! Microgreens, sprouts, heirloom vegetables and mushrooms will also grace our market this year. Award winning goat cheese, teas, jellies & jams, rubs, herbal vinegars, salsas, dry dips, local honey and maple syrup will compliment pork, chicken, beef, lamb, and farm fresh eggs. Fresh flowers and homemade specialty fudge & sweets will be the perfect finish to your farmers market bag.

The New Albany Farmers Market will also have a few merchants with environmentally friendly alternatives for your home, laundry, lawn as well as organic makeup, soaps and lotions and essential oils.

Bring a blanket and enjoy (free!) live music under the McCoy Center for the Arts tent in the center of the green as you eat your dinner at the Market…
And don’t forget our most beloved FOOD TRUCKS will also be present so that you can really make an evening of it with your family.

The Market Street Businesses will stay open during the Farmers Market hours so that you can enjoy their Market Specials as well: Tail Feathers and Three French Hens, Fine Lines, Starbucks, The Rusty Bucket Tavern, Johnson’s Ice Cream, The Learning Express and the New Albany Public Library. Public restrooms, free parking, and a Huntington ATM are all conveniently located around Market Square as welll.

Be Fresh. Be Local. Be Here! (Every Thursday Evening, 4-7PM)

Note: The market is a safe place. There is a time and place for everything and the New Albany Farmers Market is not a place for commercial outreach, causes, campaigns, or candidates. No unapproved solicitation of market patrons or merchants is permitted. Please note that the market takes place on private property.

Each year I grow and sell: corn, green peppers, farm fresh eggs, and my biggest seller is jarred pickles. I sell them mainly to fellow co-workers and such. How do I start doing this at location and events such as the New Albany farmers Market.

    Thanks.
